Description
This is a house, later converted to offices, dating from approximately 1797, with alterations in the 19th century. It may have been designed by John Cordingley. The house is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and features wrought-iron railings. It is three storeys high with a basement and has three windows on the first floor. The left-hand doorway has a fielded-panel door and a fanlight set within a decorative surround including pilasters and a pediment. The windows are sash windows in flush wood frames, with stone sills and wedge lintels. The interior has not been inspected. The wrought-iron railings have bars with leaf finials. The house was originally part of a row of six built by 1806, including numbers 26 and 27 nearby.
