Description
Boston Cottage is a small house built in 1807, constructed from ashlar magnesian limestone with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-bay facade that abuts Boston House. On the ground floor, there is a six-panel door with a four-pane overlight beneath a flat arch, located to the left of a 16-pane sash window that has a projecting stone sill, a flush wooden architrave, and a flat arch above. The first floor has a sill band that matches the ground floor windows. The roof is hipped and includes a tall yellow-brick ridge stack. This information is referenced in B. M. Scott's 1985 edition of "Boston Spa."
