Description
Trafford House is a mid-19th century building located on Halifax Road in Edgerton. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof. The house has two storeys and is adorned with a moulded and bracketed eaves cornice. At the centre of the building, there is a pedimented blocking course with a sculpted wreath. The corners of the house are accentuated with rusticated quoins.
On the first floor, there are four sash windows set in moulded surrounds. The ground floor includes one sash window framed by Tuscan piers and a full entablature, as well as a canted bay window that also has Tuscan piers, a full entablature, and a blocking course. The entrance porch is supported by Ionic columns and features a full entablature and blocking course.
