Description
Ash Leigh is a mid-19th century building located on Halifax Road in Edgerton. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has a moulded and bracketed eaves cornice. At the top, there is a blocking course with a central pediment that includes a sculpted wreath. The corners of the building have rusticated quoins.
On the first floor, there are three sash windows set in moulded surrounds. The ground floor features a tripartite sash window supported by Tuscan piers and topped with a full entablature, as well as a canted bay window with similar Tuscan piers and entablature. The entrance porch is supported by Ionic columns and also has a full entablature and blocking course. The door is made up of four moulded panels and has an oblong fanlight above it.
