Description

Nos 976 and 978 on New Hey Road is an early 19th-century longhouse-type farmhouse. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys, with stone brackets supporting the gutter. On the first floor, there are three 3-light stone mullioned windows and one 5-light stone mullioned window. The ground floor includes two 2-light stone mullioned windows and one 4-light stone mullioned window. There are also two doors, each with four moulded panels, as well as segment-headed barn doors and two planked doors leading to the barn.
