Description
Nos 986 and 990 on New Hey Road are early 19th-century longhouse-type farmhouses built from hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high. No 990 features a three-light and a two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor, both with segment-headed frames, and a four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, although two mullions have been removed. No 986 has two three-light and one four-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor, along with a three-light and a four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, each with one mullion removed. The buildings also include segment-headed barn doors.
