Description

Butterworth Hill Farmhouse is an 18th-century building, with a datestone inscribed "1719" allegedly formerly positioned over a fireplace. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and has a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables. The farmhouse is two storeys high. The upper floor has three four-light stone mullioned windows. The ground floor has one five-light and one three-light stone mullioned window. A one-storey extension to the west incorporates one three-light stone mullioned window, where one light has been blocked, and one two-light stone mullioned window, where the mullion has been removed.
