Description

This is a house dated 1849, part of a group of buildings on Sharehill Road in Upper Wellhouse. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof and coped gables. Stone brackets are positioned on a string course. The south east elevation features a central doorway with a stone surround and two two-light stone mullioned windows on the ground floor. The first floor has two three-light stone mullioned windows, plus one four-light stone mullioned window, all with a continuous sill. A stone plaque on the first floor bears the inscription “B T & M 1849”.
