Description
Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Winter Hill are a row of houses built between the 18th and early 19th centuries. The buildings are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature pitched stone slate roofs. Nos 5 and 7 have coped gables with cut kneelers, while No 9 also has a coped gable. The houses are two storeys tall. Nos 1 and 3 each have one range of bipartite sash windows with glazing bars. No 5 features a 9-light stone mullioned window. No 7 has two 3-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor and one 6-light window on the ground floor. No 9 includes a range of 5-light stone mullioned windows.
