Description

These are two houses built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and have a roof covered in bitumen-coated stone slates with gable copings. A large ashlar chimney stack is centrally located. The houses have two storeys and a basement.

The east-facing elevation has small basement windows within a light well. At ground floor level, there are entrances to the left and right, each now within later porches, and two 3-light windows. The first floor has two 5-light windows, one of which has two lights blocked. There is the possible indication of two further lights between the windows, now also blocked. The west-facing elevation features a 3-light window to the ground floor, and a modern bow window replacing a former 3-light opening on the ground floor, and a 3-light window to the first floor. Also on the first floor is a former 7-light window with three lights blocked in the centre, and one 6-light window. A slightly later addition to the south has been altered, incorporating single-light windows to the west.
