Description
These are two blocks of a larger mill complex, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof featuring gable copings on the left-hand block. The left block is four storeys high, and the right block is five storeys high. The windows are industrial casements with glazing bars, except for the top floor of the right block. The left block has nine bays, whereas the right block projects forward and consists of five bays, set back within a four-bay deep section. A low, square, tapering chimney is attached to the rear of the left block, and a later hoist tower is located at the rear of the right block. The mill blocks are prominent features within the surrounding landscape.
