Description
This pair of weaver's cottages, located to the rear of Albion Mills, likely dates from the early 18th century but is predominantly from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature quoins. The cottages have a stone slate roof with gable copings on moulded kneelers and rise to two storeys. The cottage on the right has an entrance and one three-light window, while the ground floor of the cottage on the left is partly obscured by a retaining wall but is probably similar. Both cottages have one six-light window on the first floor. At the rear, each dwelling has a blocked three-light double chamfered window on the first floor.
