Description

Calder and Hebble Navigation Lock Number 2 is located on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and dates from 1793 to 1798. The lock features hammer-dressed stone walls and wooden lock gates. An overflow culvert is situated on the north side, and there is a cutwater at the west end. Steps can be found at the east end of the lock.
