Description
Booth House is a terrace of three houses, dating from the early to mid 19th century. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a continuous sill band at the first floor level. It has a stone slate roof with coped gables and two ashlar stacks. The terrace is two storeys high, with Nos 26 and 28 being handed. There are two central doorways, flanked by a 3-light and a 2-light stone mullioned window. The first floor includes a single 12-light stone mullioned window, which has several blocked lights, resulting in one 3-light window for each dwelling. No 24 has an entrance and a 4-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor. Its first floor features a 7-light stone mullioned window, with 2 lights blocked, creating one 3-light and one 2-light window. The south gable has a blocked 4-light stone mullioned window on the first floor.
