Description
92 New North Road is a mid-19th century building constructed of ashlar stone. It features a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The building has a moulded eaves cornice supported by tall moulded consoles, with decorative panels in between. There is a cornice above the ground floor. The ground floor has raised quoins, which are alternately vermiculated, and the building has five ranges of sash windows. The first-floor windows are round-arched, except for the central window, while the ground-floor windows are segment-headed. The outer four first-floor windows are grouped in pairs, each with moulded imposts, voussoirs, keystones, shared moulded cornices, panelled jambs, and plain shared plinths. The ground-floor windows have moulded surrounds, keystones, and consoles supporting their cornices. The central bay of the building slightly breaks back. The central first-floor window is adorned with consoles supporting a moulded cornice, with decorative panels in between. The entrance features a door with a shouldered lintel, vermiculated voussoirs, moulded imposts, and panels on either side. The panelled door is flanked by elaborately moulded caps and is accessed by three steps.
