Description
This is a pair of mid-19th century houses located on New North Road. They are built of hammer-dressed stone with a hipped slate roof. The buildings have a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course, with rusticated quoins marking the corners. Each house has three ranges of sash windows, mainly of a tripartite arrangement, though Number 98 has one tripartite window on the ground floor. The ground-floor windows have moulded surrounds, and all have moulded cornices. The doors are flanked by Tuscan pilasters and feature an entablature above.
