Description

This is a mid-19th century building of ashlar construction located on the west side of Portland Street. It has a pitched slate roof and two storeys. Stone brackets support the gutter line. The building is divided into two ranges, each featuring two sashes. Numbers 2, 6, 10 and 14 have four-panelled doors, each with a fanlight above. Numbers 4, 8 and 12 have doors with fanlights. Number 14 has a passage entrance with a blind, semi-circular fanlight, moulded imposts, and voussoirs. Number 6 has a prominent band running horizontally across the facade.
