Description

This is an early 18th-century farmhouse, with later 18th-century and more recent alterations. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan. The main entrance is on the left and features a chamfered surround. To the right of the entrance are four-light windows on each floor, each originally having two mullions, but these have since been removed. The projecting wing to the left also has four-light windows to each floor, also originally with two mullions. At the rear of the farmhouse is a four-light double window with a hollow chamfer on each floor; the ground floor window originally had two mullions. The gable wall to the right has recently been rebuilt, while the other is plain. A recent kitchen extension has been added to the rear.

Inside, there is an arched and chamfered fireplace. The hinges on the main door are dated 1741.
