Description

This building, located at the rear of the Lord Nelson Public House, is a former dwelling that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features quoins. The stone slate roof has chamfered gable copings supported by shaped kneelers, and there is a rendered gable stack. The building has two storeys, with the main elevation reflecting 19th-century design, including two 3-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor and an entrance with one 2-light window on the ground floor. The rear of the building includes one 2-light double chamfered window at first floor level and another at an intermediate level, as well as one small light with a round false arch. There is also a 2-light double chamfered window on the gable wall, although the mullion has been removed.
