Description

This mid-19th century house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings, topped by a pitched slate roof with coped gables. It is two storeys and has attics. The front facade features two canted bays on the ground floor, one with a hipped stone roof and Caernarvon-arched sash windows, and the other with a crenellated parapet. Above, there are two paired sash windows with two-centred arched lights on the first floor. A single arched sash with a hoodmould is set into the gable end. The left-hand portion of the building steps back and is also gabled, incorporating a two-storey porch in the re-entrant angle. The ground floor window of the porch has a Caernarvon arch, above which is a door. The first and attic floor windows of the porch are two-centred arches with hoodmoulds, the hoodmoulds breaking upwards in the centre.
