Description

The Packhorse Bridge over the River Dearne is a likely 18th-century structure. It features coursed rubble sides with ashlar voussoirs and parapets. The bridge has a hump-backed, single span, segmental arch and a stone flag walkway. The upper course of the parapet is probably from the 20th century.
