Description

The former coach house to Armitage Bridge House is an early to mid 19th century building constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and features angle pilasters. The ground floor has four round arches, two of which have semi-circular fanlights and two that contain doors. The central bay projects forward and is topped with an ashlar parapet that has incised Greek key ornamentation, along with segment-headed carriage doors.
