SE 10 NW WOODHEAD ROAD 4/404 (Hinchliffe Mill)

No 119 and Adjoining Warehouse Building GV II

Part of row. Mid C19. Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof. One and 3 storeys. North-west elevation: single storey. No 119 has entrance and one 2-light stone mullioned window. The warehouse building has one large 3-light stone mullioned window at high level and small delivery door at ground level. South-east elevation: Ground floor: large arched opening, with alterations and modern lintel, forming entrance to tunnel which goes under Woodhead Road to 134 and 136 Woodhead Road. To right is large doorway with lintel on rounded corbels, above which is further doorway with similar detailing, and one 3-light stone mullioned window. Second floor: one 6-light and one 3-light stone mullioned window with pronounced sills.
