Description
No 119 and the adjoining warehouse building are part of a row constructed in the mid-19th century. They are made of hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are one and three storeys tall, with the north-west elevation being a single storey. No 119 includes an entrance and one two-light stone mullioned window. The warehouse building has a large three-light stone mullioned window located high up and a small delivery door at ground level.
On the south-east elevation, the ground floor features a large arched opening that has been altered and now includes a modern lintel, serving as an entrance to a tunnel that runs under Woodhead Road to 134 and 136 Woodhead Road. To the right, there is a large doorway with a lintel resting on rounded corbels, above which is another doorway with similar detailing, along with one three-light stone mullioned window. On the second floor, there are one six-light and one three-light stone mullioned window, both with pronounced sills.
