Description

The Calder and Hebble Navigation at Milnsbridge Basin on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal is a structure dating from approximately 1793 to 1798. It features hammer-dressed stone banks and coping. There is an upright cast iron post that was formerly the base of the crane, which gives the crane wharf its name.
