Description

This is a 17th-century barn located adjacent to number 13 (Yew Tree) on Leeds Road in Mirfield. The barn is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. It has some altered openings and repair work. On the left side, there is a square-headed cart entry, and to the right, there is a later outshut extension. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut.

Inside, the barn consists of two bays with a rear aisle. It has a central king post truss with struts that are supported by a post at the rear. The brace to the tie-beam is missing, but the aisle-tie, arcade-plate, purlins, and rafters are all intact. The barn is listed for its group value only.
