Description

This is a terrace of three houses, part of a larger terrace of seven, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are built of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The north-east elevation shows that No. 18 has a doorway and a four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, and one six-light stone mullioned window on the first and second floors, with two lights blocked on the second floor. Nos. 19 and 20 each have a doorway and a three-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor, and one four-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. The second floor of Nos. 19 and 20 features a five-light stone mullioned window, with two lights blocked in each. The south-west elevation has various two, three and four-light stone mullioned windows. The north-west gable has one two-light stone mullioned window to the first floor, and one four-light window to the second floor, with two lights blocked. This terrace is listed for its group value.
