Description
The stables at Rose Hill, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, are rendered with a pitched stone slate roof and coped gables. The building has two storeys and an irregular plan, but the side facing Rose Hill follows a Palladian church front design, featuring two flanking wings, each with one window. The eastern window is contemporary and retains its hoodmould, while the western window is a modern neo-Georgian bay. The centre section has two windows flanking doors, with a continuous hoodmould, and two semi-circular windows with square hoodmoulds on the first floor, along with a clock in the gable. The roadside displays irregular fenestration, including two three-light stone mullioned sash windows with glazing bars, all featuring hoodmoulds. There is also a door with six fielded panels.
