Description

This late 19th-century commercial building stands on Bond Street, Dewsbury, and is built in a modified Italian style. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with the ground floor being rusticated. The building rises four storeys, topped by a cornice and eaves. It has four bays, with a wide, round-arched entrance featuring a panelled double door and a large, enriched keystone. The round-arched ground floor windows each have an apron and a carved head as a keystone. The first-floor windows are elliptical-headed, while the second and third-floor windows are segmental-headed, all with vermiculated keystones.
