Mill. Mid C19. Hammer dressed stone, ashlar dressings, hipped slate roofs. 4 storeys. 19-bay facade articulated by quoins with slightly recessed bays; 3 + 3 + 7 + 3 + 3. All windows have monolithic lintel and projecting sill. Large doorway in 5th bay has semi-circular arch with expressed keystone, rusticated voussoirs with vermiculated surface. Large cyma moulded cornice. Square clock tower over same bay has corner pilasters, consoles carrying wide projecting cornice, circular recesses for clock face (missing). Moulded gutter brackets. 14th bay has taking-in door to top floor. 8-bay return. Left hand return wall has semi-circular arched doorways to taking-in bay with rusticated voussoirs.
