Description

Dam Head is a 17th-century stone house that has been altered and possibly incorporates earlier work. The building features a single-storey central section flanked by two-storey cross wings that were remodeled in the 18th and 19th centuries. It has a stone roof with a gable on the west wing and a hip on the east. The central part includes a large mullioned and transomed window divided into two sections, along with an arched doorway that has drip moulding. The wings contain modern casement windows and shutters. At the rear, there is a two-storey range with finials on a pair of gables, which also features altered casement windows.
