Description
Bankfield Farmhouse is a house, probably built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and has a stone slate roof. The east-facing front features two storeys and five symmetrical bays. The building has quoins, a band cornice, and a pediment over the central bay, which projects slightly and includes a triple window that is canted. The windows have plain stone surrounds and modern casements with glazing bars. The roof is hipped and has two matching stacks.
