Description

Lower Saltonstall Farmhouse is a traditional stone house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, featuring a stone roof and two storeys. The main front, facing south, has long mullioned windows with drip-mouldings on the ground floor. There is a doorway with a lugged architrave and cornice. The rear of the building is plain, with altered windows and a gabled wing. Lower Saltonstall Farmhouse, along with Nos 2, 5, and 7 Lower Saltonstall and Greenhill, forms a group.
