Description

Number 5 (incorporating Number 4) and Number 7 (incorporating Number 6) are a row of traditional stone cottages located on the south side of Saltonstall Lane, likely dating from the 18th century. The cottages feature stone roofs and have four very simple mullioned windows along with plain doorways. The rear of the buildings is also plain. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value, as they form a cohesive architectural group with Lower Saltonstall Farmhouse and other nearby properties.
