Description

Hartley Royd is a traditional stone house from the 17th century, located on Buttress Lane. It features a stone roof and stands two storeys tall. The main south front has mullioned windows, which have been slightly altered, and a central porch that is also two storeys high with a gable. To the west, there is a wing with a hipped roof and larger windows that have transoms above. The house is built against a hillside to the east, and there is a lean-to structure at the rear.
