Description
Strines Cottage and Strines House are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are built from watershot masonry and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of two bays. The north front has flat faced mullioned windows with four lights on each floor and in each bay, along with a doorway that has composite jambs situated between the bays. There are two chimney stacks at the ridge. An additional entrance is located at the corner of the gable, which has quoins at the ground floor lintel level only. The rear, facing south, has a similar arrangement of windows, with three lights on the ground floor and doorways.
