SOWERBY BRIDGE WINE TAVERN LANE (west end), Sowerby Outbuilding approximately10 metres to south east of Upper Quick Stavers Farmhouse

Outbuilding. Early C18 or earlier. Coursed drystone rubble with some squared blocks, stone slate roof. 2 x 2 bays. North, gable, front: quoins; quoined door- way on left; small window with stone surround on right; later window with tie-stones to jambs in centre with small blocked rectangular vent above. Right return: on right, window in surround of a chamfered 2-light window; small rectangular vent, now glazed, to centre. Interior: stop-chamfered tie-beam with queen struts to principal rafters; large scantling purlins.
