Description
The Knowle is an early 19th-century villa located on Victoria Road in Keighley. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with a square shape. At the center, there is a Doric porch that is elevated by three steps, featuring coupled columns, a frieze, and a pediment. Inside the porch, there is a panelled door with a fanlight that includes glazing bars. On either side of the porch, there are two-storeyed canted bay windows, each supported by Doric half-columns as jambs. The villa has a moulded cornice and a hipped roof. The garden front showcases a large bow window. The building is depicted on a map from 1847.
