Description

Bankhouse Farm is a house dating from the 18th century, located in Braithwaite Village, Keighley. It is constructed of coursed sandstone with gritstone quoins, and has a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high with three first-floor windows. A single-storey gabled porch extends from the second bay, featuring a plain stone surround to the doorway. The ground-floor windows have plain stone surrounds and recessed, flat-faced mullions of three lights. Above, windows have two, three, and four lights, with some mullions removed. Shaped kneelers and coping top the roof. An end stack is located on the right side. The rear elevation includes a single-storey porch with a plain stone surround to the doorway, and a round-headed stair window with a keystone and imposts. The right gable has a quoined doorway and two single-light windows.
