Description
This garden sculpture, likely from the early 19th century, is located 5 metres west of the main entrance to the rear garden at Farfield Hall. Made of ashlar and carved free stone, it features a moulded square plinth topped by a sculpture of a cherub. The cherub's left hand supports a cornucopia that is topped with a circular bowl adorned with a Vitruvian scrolled border, while its right hand holds the collar of a greyhound. This sculpture is included for its group value.
