Description

No 535 on Great Horton Road is a former public house dating from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of painted stone designed to resemble brick, topped with a stone slate roof. The original section features square mullioned windows, while a mid-19th century wing has been added, which includes taller but similarly styled windows. The gable ends of the original part are adorned with saddlestones and shaped kneelers. The rear of the building also has square mullioned windows on both floors.
