Description

This description is for a pair of K6 telephone kiosks located at the junction with Saint Street on Great Horton Road in Bradford. These kiosks were designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The northern kiosk was manufactured by the Carron Company, while the southern kiosk was made by the Lion Foundry. Both kiosks are made of cast iron and feature a square shape with domed roofs. They have unperforated George VI crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and doors.
