Description
The King's Arms Public House is a 1739 building associated with the Brooksbank family, located on Great Horton Road. This two-storey house is constructed of sandstone "brick" with a stuccoed front and features a quarry slate roof. On the first floor, there are three two-light square mullion windows, while the ground floor has two windows and a later bar entrance. The original central doorway is adorned with a crude Gibbs surround, which includes the date and initials "GB" on the keystone.
