Description
Kennels Farmhouse, formerly known as Dog Kennel Farm, is a 17th-century building that has undergone significant alterations. It is two storeys high, constructed from squared stone with a stone slab roof. The farmhouse features three windows with mullions; the upper windows are of two lights, while the lower windows are larger and likely from the 19th century, with the left window having two lights and the right window having three lights. A modern central porch has been added. Some of the windows previously contained 17th or 18th-century leaded glazing, which has been removed since 1946. The left-hand door is situated under a very large lintel stone inscribed with "I.H 1671." There is also a modern extension on the right side.
