Description

Stead Farm is a small farmhouse from the 17th century, standing two storeys tall. It is constructed of squared stone and features a stone slab roof. Some of the stone windows have had their mullions removed and replaced with sash frames, while others still have their original leaded lights from the 17th or 18th century. Above the doorway, there is a stone inscribed with the date 1699, although the house is likely older than this.
