Description
The Former Eldwick Crag Chapel is a disused chapel dated 1815, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. This very small rural chapel is a single storey with a low three-bay front facing the road and is one bay deep. The central doorway is flanked by windows, all featuring monolithic jambs and round arches with small keystones and impost blocks. On the right-hand side, there is a blocked doorway with tie-stone jambs and a dated lintel. Additionally, there is a square window with plain-stone surrounds set in the gable.
