Description

This is a circa 1850-60 sandstone building, originally designed as a public house. It has a symmetrical three-bay front of two storeys. The building is faced with sandstone that appears like brick, and features ashlar dressings. It includes a plinth and an eaves cornice. The roof is covered with stone slate, and has chimneys on both sides. A pilastered doorway is topped with an entablature and projects forward from the main building line. The property is listed for its group value.
