Description

Blenheim Place comprises an L-shaped block of cottages dating back to the 17th century, likely originally a farmhouse that was subdivided into cottages around 1800. The cottages are built of rendered sandstone and have stone slate roofs with corniced chimneys. They feature three- and four-light, chamfered mullion windows with drip moulds, largely dating from around 1800. The first floor of numbers 71 and 77 have four-light square mullion windows. Doorways have four-panel doors with squared jambs. Number 71 retains exposed chamfered ceiling beams, although the interior of the other cottages has been modernised.
