Description
Suddards Fold is a group of cottages built around 1800 to 1820, arranged in an L-plan and constructed from sandstone "brick." They feature a stone slate roof and have corniced chimneys. The first cottage, No 1, includes a saddlestone with shaped kneelers. Each cottage has two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds and squared jamb doorways. These cottages may have been converted from a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century. They are included in the listing for their group value.
