Description

Holme House is a detached house dating to approximately 1800 to 1820. The front elevation is constructed of ashlar, while a sandstone "brick" wing is to the side and rear. The building features a convex moulded cornice and blocking course, a stone slate roof with coped gable ends, and corniced chimneys. A hipped roof covers the wing.

The main front of the house has three windows with shallow reveals, and retains original glazing bar sashes on the right-hand side. A convex moulded doorcase with a pediment frames the original door, which is composed of six flush and shaped fielded panels, surmounted by a rectangular glazed fanlight. The wing has two windows with glazing bar sashes, and a stair light positioned between the floors.
