Description

This is a late 17th-century house with an adjoining stable, altered in the mid 19th century and again in the late 20th century. The house is built of coursed rubble, rendered and painted, with a stone slate roof, and has single ridge and gable stacks. It is a single-story building with a three-window front. The central range features a half-glazed door with sidelights to the left, and a large three-light casement window to the right, both with shutters. These windows are 20th-century additions. A single-bay addition to the right has a two-light casement window with shutters. The stable, located to the left of the house, has a close-boarded door. Inside the central range of the house are two pairs of cruck beams with arch braces to a single purlin.
